Accommodation
Per-night ranges found in a travel guide: dorm bed or shared guesthouse room about 10 to 30 JD, entry-level private room about 20 to 35 JD, mid-range hotel about 30 to 60 JD, 4-5 star hotel from about 65 JD. In the desert, a simple Bedouin camp starts around 20 JD per person and a bubble camp exceeds 130 USD a night (the bubble camp). In Dana, the RSCN lists about 80 to 100 JD for a double room (2025 rates). See where to stay in Jordan.
Meals
We did not find reliable meal prices for 2026: ask on site. As a rule, small restaurants and stalls are much cheaper than hotel restaurants, and the tourist restaurants of Wadi Musa and the Dead Sea are the most expensive. A 10% service charge is often added: see money and tipping.
Transport
Taxi to Wadi Rum from Aqaba or Petra: about 25 to 35 JD one way. Other trips (Amman, Petra, Kerak) depend on the mode: car (car rental) or driver (the private driver), with example excursion prices of 94 to 132 USD per person for a Petra and Wadi Rum day.
Example: three tight days
| Item | Range |

| Jordan Pass (visa + Petra 1 day + Wadi Rum) | 70 JD |
| 4x4 tour in Wadi Rum, shared by 2 | 25 to 38 JD per person |
| Taxi Wadi Musa to Wadi Rum | 30 to 35 JD per vehicle |
| Accommodation and meals | depending on level (see above) |
