Day 3: Madaba, Mount Nebo and the Dead Sea
Madaba and its mosaic map, Mount Nebo and its view, then the Dead Sea to float in the afternoon (resort day pass: day passes).

Days 4 and 5: the Kings Highway
This is the driving part: Kerak in the morning, then Dana Biosphere Reserve for the end of the day and the night. The next day, Shobak Castle on the way to Petra. Details of the stops: the Kings Highway. Dana is about 3 hours from Amman, Shobak about 40 km from Petra.
Day 6: Petra
From 2 October 2026 to 1 March 2027, Petra is open from 6:30 to 17:00. Ticket: 50 JD for one day if you sleep in Jordan (or included in the Jordan Pass). Route: the Siq, the Treasury, the Street of Facades, the royal tombs; optionally the Monastery (about 800 steps). See how to visit Petra and Petra by Night.

Day 7: Wadi Rum and return
About 1 hour 30 to 2 hours from Petra. A 3 to 5 hour 4x4 tour (the tour), then Aqaba if you leave from its airport, or the road to Amman (about 4 hours). For a night in the desert, see the bubble camp: it adds a day.
Jordan Pass, transport, budget
The Jordan Pass (70, 75 or 80 JD depending on Petra days) includes the visa (buy before arrival, 2 nights minimum) and more than 40 sites. For the car: car rental or the private driver. For prices: the travel budget. If you only have 3 days: Jordan in 3 days. An organised tour saves booking everything.
